The ranks in the guild currently are:

Apprentice - New user who joins the guild. No bank access, prevents scammers emptying the bank.
Employee - Any user who has been in the guild for at least a week, presuming no other suspicious activity. This rank is generally handled at gwens discretion and unfortunately also my availability. If I'm particularlly busy sometimes people fall between the gaps. Just let me know if you've been in the guild for a while and still haven't been promoted to this rank. This rank is able to remove items from the first two (Members) guild bank tabs.
Investor - Any member who has made a notable donatation towards the guilds running costs (such as websites, vent, prizes). Donors have exactly the same rights as members but are immune from inactivity kicking and have slightly higher limits on the number of items they can take out of the bank each day.
Team Lead - This rank is applied to members who run at least three hours of current tier raids comprised of guild members each week. This rank is the lowest rank that is permitted to invite other players to the guild, however they are only allowed to invite members for their own teams (not general raid recruitement).
Executive - This is the highest rank a normal member can obtain and is handed out purely at the discretion of the CEO and Board Members. Don't ask about being promoted to this - it is only given to very active contributing members who have been in the guild for a very long time.
Manager - Officers are the lowest rank that has permission to remove members from the guild, and also has access to the first 7 bank tabs. Officers are the main people handling invites to the guild (for friends/alts) however raid leaders can provide assistance if none of the officers are on.
CEO - Your benevolent dictator Gwendral! Gwendral has helped shape Arcanum into a strict-on-personality but casual-on-commitment mature friendly guild. Essentially the guild is run as Gwen feels is best for the environment we have created - which unfortunately doesn't always match the opinions of all players. Members best course of action if they are unhappy with the guild or its GM is to switch to another guild that best suits what they are looking for as there are plenty of alternatives available
Probation - Users who have breached the rules and have been removed from the guild but have promised to reform, or who have been given a 'second chance'. Repeat offences will earn a PERMANENT ban from all Arcanum guilds and activities.

<Arcanum> members can help keep the guild operational by donating via paypal, or donating in-game items (or Loot Cards) towards the guild competitions, vent server and website running costs. Donors will be promoted to a special guild rank and have the guilds endless appreciation :)
